Fundamentally Different

"

Fell and scrapped my leg pretty bad. Went to my primary care physician first, who is normally pretty good, and they really didn't really do anything and said it would heal on its own. Then went to Dr. Blasko, who identified an infection traveling up my leg. She had my wound meticulously cleaned and prescribed antibiotics and my leg got better. If untreated I could have lost my leg or even my life. With my diabetes I am especially prone to infections. This is a pretty clear example of why podiatry is fundamentally different than primary care medicine. Dr. Blasko's patient care is excellent.
